Island original Julian Hagen, along with three talented friends, will perform
classic Door County folk music that is heartwarming and delightful. Julian's
unmistakable sense of humor and his gift as a songwriter/entertainer promise an
evening of fond memories. Through his past performances aboard Sunset Concert
Cruises, Julian has built a loyal following among countless cruise customers.
Attracted by Julian's magnetic personality and stage presence, fans come back
year after year to enjoy his show. He will perform songs from his recent CDs, along with all time favorites, so that everybody has a chance to sing along! It's fun for folks of any age.
Joining on fiddle will be Lynn Gudmundsen who hails from the Island of Maui. Lynn is a professional violinist and will be featured as "fiddler extraordinary" and vocalist in Julian's band. She performs frequently with big-name bands including the Willy Nelson Band.
Also joining will be singer/songwriter Chris Irwin, who has performed at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, AFT (American Folklore Theater) and many other respected venues. Chris will contribute on guitar, mandolin, and vocals.
Rounding off the band on bass and cello will be Hans Christian whose improvisational skills and musicality are a great addition to the ensemble. Hans has nationally toured with his band RASA (www.rasa-music.com) recorded, and produced music for over 20 years and he is currently running Door County's finest recording studio, Allemande Music.
